Old Man Winter has apparently returned from his spring break vacation

Welcome back to another week with the Lander Running Club!

I was bummed to miss the runs last week, but I'm looking forward to another round of workouts this week! It sounds like everyone nailed the T-pace workout last Wednesday, and the pictures from Saturday's Popo Agie Falls run looked fantastic. Following the Wednesday Workout, we will head straight over to Gannett Grill for some pizza! Farmer Fred has generously offered to buy a round of pies for the folks that come to the workout. Come on out, sweaty clothes and all, refuel, and socialize a bit with fellow runners! We can share in something other than suffering for once :) On to the workouts!

Workout Wednesday
We've got some snow in the forecast for this Wednesday, and I sure have been missing that Garner hill! This week we will meet in the LVHS parking lot at 6:30pm  and then jog over as a group to Cascade Drive and Garner for another fun and challenging hill workout. If you've been there before, you know the drill:

10 reps x (45 seconds on, 90 seconds rest)

Saturday Trail Run
Let's just make it another week of hills! This also happens to be Amber's birthday run, so we'll try to make it extra special. Meet at the pullout at the bottom of the Fairfield Hill Road at 8am. We'll run up the road a little ways and then split off right to run up the singletrack. Instead of the loop we've done the last couple times, we will continue up and right to top out Fairfield hill to get a proper birthday view. We will then tumble on down the road and back to the cars. You should be able to just tuck and roll most of the way down and let gravity do all the work for you! This loop is a bit longer than the other Fairfield loops we have run before- I'd expect maybe around 7 miles or so total, with a lot of vertical! We'll see you out there.

Happy Trails from the Lander Running Club!
