Keep up with Summer


Holy cow it's August! This summer is flying by quick! Let's make sure we can keep up with it by doing another speed workout this Wednesday. 

Make sure you get in a good warmup run before the workout. We'll focus on lactic acid threshold work this week- T pace!

Wednesday Workout
3 x 5 minutes at T pace with 90 seconds recovery 
4 x 20 sec strides

Saturday Trail Run
Let's head up to Worthen this weekend and plan to run up toward Roaring Fork pass. "Get high" with the Lander Running Club! Meet at 9 am in the parking lot by the trailhead, and feel free to use the Facebook page to arrange some ridesharing.

Don't forget that the Lander Triathlon is THIS WEEKEND! August 9th brings the Sprint Triathlon back again to Lander. If you've never done one, a sprint distance is a great way for a beginner to try one out, and a super classic local event. The organizers have put a ton of work in this year and it promises to be a great time.
