Welcome to...Fall?

Greetings friends!

We're going to skip all talk of this week's forecast because...well, just because. It's too soon, ok? Too soon.

I hope you're all settling into the late summer well. We know a lot of you have kiddos who recently started school or are yourselves back to teaching or other new fall responsibilities. We understand that it can be hard to maintain a running schedule in all of that chaos, so we sure appreciate you taking the time to hang out with us.

This week we're going to get on the track for another mixed bag workout. Usual time and place: 6:30pm at the LVHS Track. Here's the plan:

Wednesday Workout
6 minutes T pace followed by 2 minutes rest
2x3 minutes at I pace with 2 minutes rest
2x1 minute at R pace with 2 minutes rest

In case you're wondering what the heck happened to Saturday runs, we've decided that once winter settles in and racing season settles down we'll be jumping back into the Saturday trail runs with more vigor. We're gone yet again this weekend. Wish Evan and LRC members Gabe and Kira good luck at The Rut 50k near Big Sky, Montana this weekend. Kilian Jornet will be running it and I bet he'll be bummed to get fourth. (What, you think I'm joking? Ok, I'm maybe joking just a little bit).

That's all for now folks. See you on the track Wednesday!

Cheers,

The Lander Running Club
