TEDx and Tour d'Coop

Hello friends!

We hope you've been able to get out and enjoy this beautiful fall weather we've been having. There's really nothing quite like a brisk morning run and the smell of autumn leaves.

Can we just say something? Holy moly! What an awesome turnout last week! We had 15 people running plus a few who came to hang around for moral support. If we can keep that going into the winter, the nighttime running will be so much more fun. So spread the word to your friends!

That said, we are going to cancel the workout this week in favor of attending TEDx, which is being organized in part by LRC member Anne Even. Let's turn out and support this awesome event in our community to keep it coming back every year! DETAILS:

TEDx is THIS WEDNESDAY starting at 5:30! I don't know about you, but I'm superstoked about this. The speakers look really interesting (and there is food!), and from the endurance athlete perspective, Lisa Smith-Batchen promises to deliver a really interesting and inspiring story.

As an added bonus, scoot on over to the LRC Facebook page and give our post on the TEDx event a 'like' for a chance to win one of two free tickets to the event! Thanks for this awesome offer, Anne!!

Hope to see you there!

On top of TEDx we've got another run coming your way in conjunction with LocalFest called the Tour d'Coop. The route is exactly what it sounds: A tour of chicken coops around Lander. It should be an awesome and unique way to enjoy a running event and also learn a little about how people are growing and making their own food, locally. We hope you can make it out!

We'll have more details coming on that soon- watch for the updates coming your way in the next couple days.

Happy Trails from the Lander Running Club!
