Time to run off that box of chocolates.

UPDATE (11:04 am on Friday, 2/20/15):
Amber is in Cheyenne for work over the weekend, and I (Evan) have chosen to ski on Saturday. We hope you will go out and enjoy a trail run at Johnny anyway, just didn't want you waiting around for us! Have fun out there, I actually really enjoy running in fresh snow before it gets icy and uneven.

Hi there, Lander!

We hope you all had lovely and eventful Valentine’s Day weekends! Whether for you that meant quality time with your significant other and/or the kids, or semi-boycotting an arbitrary day invented to boost restaurant patronage and chocolate sales and spending time alone in the mountains – we hope good times were had in your life. But let's be honest, whatever way you spent it, you ate a lot of chocolate didn't you. (That's not in the form of a question because we know you did).

Evan and I sure had a great time backcountry skiing at Togwotee and running, cross country skiing, and stuffing our faces with delicious food (and yeah...a lot of chocolate) in Jackson for a few days. In fact, I'm eating a chocolate chip cookie at Pearl Street Bagels as I write. Nomnoms.

So here’s the deal, even if by some miracle you didn't give into the chocolate explosion at every grocery store and restaurant (why wouldn't you?), we're all going to run harder anyway because we can:

Ladies’ Morning Run
Meet at 6am at the pool parking lot. We’ll go out from there and gauge route and time on whoever shows up.

Wednesday Workout
Let’s keep this good weather thing rollin’! See you at the track at 5:30 pm on Wednesday and we’ll do:

T Pace for 6, then 5, then 4 minutes.

And if this snowy forecast does play out and the track turns out to be a no-go (we just don’t trust any weather forecasters anymore), we’ll still meet at the track, but we’ll head over to Garner for some hill repeats as a replacement.

Saturday Trail Run
Let’s meet at the trailhead at Johnny Behind the Rocks at 9am! And feel free to use the Facebook page to coordinate carpooling.

That’s all for now.

See you this week!

Amber and Evan
