Moving to Tuesdays!

Howdy LRCers!

Things are a-changin'! We hope you had a fabulous Labor Day weekend and for those of you who made it to the Moccassin Lake Challenge, we hope you had a great time!

As promised in last week's newsletter, we're officially moving LRC track workouts to Tuesday evenings since Evan is teaching at CWC Wednesday nights this semester.

So Tuesday night, we'll meet you at the track at 5:30. We'll also try to keep the meeting time more uniform going forward since we're heading out of the hotter season and into the shorter days. So while the last few weeks have been hectic on our end, hopefully this will provide you with more certainty. Thanks for bearing with us!

Tuesday night workout
5:30 at the LVHS track. We're doing a mixed bag workout this week.
Make sure you get in a 10-15 minute warm-up, even if that means you're still warming up at 5:30!
1 x 5 min T pace 90 seconds rest
1 x 4 min T pace 90 seconds rest
2 x 3 min I pace
4-6 strides on the grass

Trail Runs - heading your way with the colder weather
This is just a heads up that coming this fall - LRC is also changing its trail-run scheme to once a month runs that are much bigger of a deal rather than every single Saturday morning. More to come on this soon.
