4th of July Races! and workout cancellation.

Hi folks,

First, A HUGE, GINORMOUS THANK YOU to everyone that ran, volunteered, cheered, leered, and beered at the Sinks Canyon Rough and Tumble Trail Runs and helped make it a huge success! 70 happy runners! That's thirty more than last year. Woohoo! But more on that in a later post.

I wanted to let you know that we're going to cancel the workout this Wednesday because Amber and I will be busy coordinating race packet stuffing for the Challenge for Charities 4th of July Races.

After this race, I think we'll probably both retire from running and walk away from human society forever, maybe build a small lean-to somewhere in the Absarokas. We'll eat berries and bunnies and never send an email ever again.

I kid. A little.

On a side note, if you haven't yet registered for the 4th of July races, you should do so soon!! Online registration closes at noon on Friday, July 1st. After that, prices go up, but you can register in person on July 3rd at Wild Iris Mountain Sports, which is also packet pickup, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Register here!

There will also be morning-of registration, but I beg of you to publicly shame yourself or anyone else thinking of doing so.

That's all for this week- we'll get you the July Newsletter next week! Hope to see you all out and running on the 4th!

Evan and Amber
